CPBA Office Closed
The Clay-Platte Baptist Association will be closed the week between Christmas and New Years Day.
The Network lunches are for CPBA church ministry staff to gather together enjoy delicious food, great conversations, encouraging fellowship, and engage with a specific topic related to ministry. The Network lunches are held on the second Tuesday of each month except when we break for summer.
The Benevolence Team is a group of individuals from CPBA churches who desire to to see poverty alleviated in the Clay and Platte Counties. As a team they continue to learn information and share ideas with the CPBA churches to achieve this goal.This team usually meets every third Thursday morning each month except during summer.
The Disaster Relief Service Ministry Team meets at the Clay-Platte Association office on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
The CPBA Pastors’ Wives Network exists for the purpose of supporting, encouraging, and facilitating strong trustworthy friendships with those who understand what it’s like to be in ministry. Each month the CPBA holds a Pastors’ Wives Gathering where specific topics related to being in ministry are discussed.
The Midwest Leadership Summit is January 21-23, 2020 in Springfield, Illinois. This event is for church leaders and our Director of Missions, Dr. Gary Mathes will be speaking at a breakout session for this event. For more information click here.
The Clay-Platte Baptist Association Youth Leaders Network is a group of people who support each other in ministry and discuss specific topics related to working with youth in their church. They hold monthly meetings where they talk about a relevant topic to youth ministry, pray for each other, and then go have lunch together.
