Dr. Gary Mathes

Director of Missions

Dr. Gary Mathes began serving as Director of Missions of the Clay-Platte Baptist Association in January 2019.  Gary is a native Missourian, and prior to coming to CPBA, he served as Pastoral Ministry and Church Revitalization specialist with the Missouri Baptist Convention.  He has previously served as pastor and associate pastor of churches in Missouri and Kansas.  Gary earned a Doctor of Ministry and Master of Divinity with Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as a B.A. in Religion/Philosophy with College of the Ozarks. He and his wife, Ginger, have two children and five grandchildren.

Kelsey Reger

Kelsey has an undergraduate degree in Christian Ministry and a Masters in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She and her husband, Allen, live in Kansas City and enjoy being pet parents to Oliver, their Borador(border collie/black lab mix). She has worked with the Clay-Platte Baptist Association since September 2017 and looks forward to seeing God work among the churches in the Clay-Platte Baptist Association.
